Good idea for a thread. I'll jump in.
Mike here — 11 years in stamping, started as a die maintenance tech and worked my way into process engineering. Currently at a Tier 2 automotive supplier in the midwest running 3 servo presses (2x Komatsu H1F-300, 1x Aida DSF-N1-2000) plus 2 older mechanical presses we haven't replaced yet.
Day to day I handle die tryouts, press setup optimization, and troubleshooting when things go sideways. Spend way too much time staring at force curves and arguing with the drive parameters.
The Komatsu and Aida are completely different animals to tune. Komatsu's software is more straightforward but the Aida gives you finer control once you figure out the menu structure. Happy to compare notes with anyone running either brand.
Also do a fair amount of used press evaluation — we picked up one of the Komatsus secondhand and learned a lot about what to look for (and what we missed). Ask me anything on that front.
